Until recently this small family hotel situated at the top of South Beach and 14th street, had only 35 rooms. It’s one of the original, well preserved Art Deco hotels for which South Beach is renowned and as such the rooms are very small This however is more than compensated for by its location and the fabulous ‘front porch where you can consume large Havana -7’s and coke and watch the world go by. Only Vegas rivals South Beach for the outrageous and if you can get the right seat on the porch any day, but Sunday afternoon in particular, I guarantee you will be entertained.

It’s got a great bar the lobby area overlooking the beach and a roof top one too if you so desire. You won’t find a better location but make sure you ask for an oceanfront room otherwise you have no view at all.
